No. While I specialise in women’s mental health and wellbeing, I also welcome men, couples and families. My approach remains the same — compassionate, evidence-informed and tailored to each client.
Clinical hypnosis is a collaborative process that uses focused attention, guided imagery, and suggestion to facilitate positive change. It is a safe, natural state of heightened awareness, often compared to deep relaxation or absorption in an activity.
Strategic psychotherapy, based on the work of Gordon Young, is a goal-oriented, solution-focused approach to exploring presenting limitations expressed in thoughts or emotions. It identifies and modifies learned patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that maintain unwanted outcomes.
Strategic therapy is defined by the APA as a therapist-led approach that focuses on solving current problems through purposeful interventions rather than exploring their historical origins.”
Clinical hypnosis enhances the effectiveness of strategic psychotherapy by engaging the subconscious mind, allowing new strategies to be integrated more readily into everyday life.
We engage in a conversation about your experience of the problem, and I help you come up with realisations of gaps, confusion or lack of clarity about how you manage your thoughts or your emotions. This clarity you uncover is an opportunity to change your patterns. Our sessions are collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your individual needs.
We agree on a treatment plan which guides the therapy e hypnosis. A thirty minutes hypnosis is the second part of the session and is when I use the resources we found, to help you bring those to your awareness in a very focused manner. This is what the state of trance is. You remain in control throughout, and you make shifts towards sustainable outcomes.
Yes. Clinical hypnosis is a safe and collaborative process. You remain aware and in control throughout the session. The therapist acts as a guide, helping you access focused states of attention and relaxation — you cannot be made to do anything against your will.
Hypnotherapy can assist with a wide range of problems, including stress, anxiety, phobias, habits, sleep difficulties, pain management, motivation, and confidence. It is also an effective support for building healthier behaviours and mindsets.
While meditation and relaxation calm the mind and body, hypnosis adds a focused therapeutic intention. In hypnosis, suggestions and strategies are introduced to help shift unhelpful patterns and facilitate lasting change.
Most people remember the session clearly, much like recalling a daydream or deeply relaxed moment. Some may experience mild memory gaps during deeper relaxation, but your unconscious mind remains engaged and responsive throughout.

I provide short therapy. The modality is fast and effective, and usually clients will only require a few sessions. Depending on your needs you might want to return to address different problems at a later stage.
In the first session I will assess and give a clear indication of how many visits I recommend.
The treatment may finish then, or continue for a few more sessions. We evaluate this together and you are always free to discontinue a treatment. Different cases require different length of treatment.
My goal is to finish as soon as possible, and to assist my clients to surface their inner ability to solve, heal and overcome. My role is to facilitate uncovering already existing knowledge, trigger new perspectives and expose resources that may be hidden, but accessible.
I charge a fix fee per session that may last sixty to ninety minutes of AUD / USD 240. The first session of up to two hours is charged at the same rate.

Your motivation and willingness to engage are key. Hypnosis is not something that is “done to you” — it is a process we do together. The more open and committed you are to practising new strategies, the more effective the outcomes.
